The Raspberry Pi 2 B v1.1 is the second generation Raspberry Pi, which was first released in 2015.  It is based on the Broadcom BCM2836 SoC, which includes a powerful ARM Cortex-A7 based quad-core processor running at 900MHz. The board also features 1GB of SDRAM. 

This board is compatible with the official Raspberry Pi 3 cases and power supplies.
